From Struggle, A Blessing.

Frank Ahobah was five years old when his father, an Ivorian, took him and his younger brother from Ghana to Ivory Coast. For years, the boys lived far from their Ghanaian mother, unaware that their parents were quietly divorcing. Then their father remarried — and everything changed.

Eventually, Frank and his brother were cast out of their own father’s house. For three months, they were homeless on the streets of Abidjan — moving from restaurant to restaurant for leftover food, sleeping on the pavements in front of strangers’ shops. All hope seemed lost.

Then one morning, walking along a roadside, they heard a voice calling their names. Frank’s brother turned and whispered in French: “C’est maman.” Frank told him to stop joking. But it was no joke — it was a miracle. Their mother had spent days walking the streets of Abidjan searching for her children, and she had found them.

She brought them home to Ghana, introduced them to the Church of Pentecost, and gave her sons to God. Frank discovered his musical gift, serving in the church. A God-mother came alongside him, guiding and nurturing him through every season of life.

Today, Frank Ahobah is building FONDATION AHOBAH — so that the God who rescued a homeless boy on the streets of Abidjan can use that same story to rescue thousands more around the world.
